Fibromyalgia & Neuroplasticity
I just had a wonderful catch-up conversation with someone who has was suffering with Fibromyalgia for 14 years before doing the Lightning Process. She first heard about my work several years ago but was part of a support group who ridiculed the idea that people can recover by retraining their brain and body. So she choose to ignore it. Since first hearing it she began to hear about others doing the Lightning Process. She continued to ignore it until her GP mentioned it. That got her attention and she decided to look into it.
6 months on she has not only left 14 years of chronic pain behind her but used the training to change other patterns that had been with her for even longer. What is frustrating for me and unfortunately all too common, is knowing that she could have achieved that success 5 years ago!
Luckily as more research emerges into the role of that our brain and emotions play in physical health and the capacity we have to change, people are taking a stand against those that say – it’s not possible. In the words of Walt Disney – It’s kind of fun to do the ‘impossible’.
One thing that has radically changed since I began working in this field is how many people now know about neurolplasticity and our brain’s capacity to change. It has made explaining my job so much easier and helped people understand that ‘Chronic doesn’t mean permanent’.
Change your brain and you can change your life.
